The Customer Journey

Right. I want to go back to where we were. I really do. However, let’s move on just a little bit. Why don’t we see if we find something. Well, let’s see if it’s dark over here. Is it too dark? I can’t really see. All right, we’ll go back. Okay. Okay. Oh, we’ll check over here. Let’s see.

“The Customer Journey”. Yeah. That’s the first one. “The Customer Journey: How an Owned Audience can Transform your Business”, written by Mike, Shana, or Shauna? Brad and Blake. Well, Blake and Drew. Let’s kind of see what they’re talking about here. Yeah. “The Customer Journey”, like I said, just busy blogging. Nothing important on the back. All right. Yeah. I’m sold, what about you guys? You guys sold? Let’s check it out.

Let me see this. I’m looking at this one right here. “Telling Lies in Modern American Autobiography”. It’s all fake news! I’m sorry. I’m sorry. All right. Back to “The Customer Journey”. I’ll show you guys what we’re looking at.

Oh, look at this. Look at that. Look at that. It’s an autographed copy. We’re going to have to put this to the side, right? It might be worth more than a dollar later on. I’m just joking. It’s probably like a $30 book. Don’t quote me, right? I have no idea how much this book is. But it’s kind of cool, I got it autographed though. That’s awesome. I’ll put it in my autograph collection. And you know when I say collection, not a very big collection, but collection nonetheless.

What is this, dude? I’m still scrolling, trying to find the table of contents. That’s why. Here we go. All right. No one cares. No. What? Wow. Okay. So this is pretty awesome. Okay. I get it. So it literally is their journey. So they go through each little part of the journey, and let’s go to 153. We’re looking at a interactive quiz, and basically we’re looking at the sub part where it says, “why use interactive content?” 153. Well, this book is not the easiest to hold open with one hand. 153.

Okay. “Why the interactive quiz?” Now we’re going to go through a little bit and find the sub section that I wanted to find. There we go.

“Why use interactive content?” Okay. “Done well, interactive content can drastically improve conversion rates across your website. In fact, we’ve had cases where optimizing an exiting quiz has improved conversion rate by,” Wow, “in just one month. In 2017,” blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. “20,000 survey respondents agreed that interactive content provides numerous benefits, 87% agree that internet content grabs attention, 73 agree that interactive content enhances retention of the brand, 77% agree that interactive content can have reusable value resulting in repeat visitors and multiple exposures.” Yeah.

All right. We’ll just go right here. “What is the purpose of interactive content? According to CMI, survey markers use interactive content for engagement, education in an audience, creative brand awareness, lead generation conversion sales, and sales enablement.” That’s interesting, because in today’s world, content is king, right? So if you can add interaction, engagement is .

Sorry, I don’t know, my fault. I do that. Probably every video I get my words mixed up. If you’re offended or whatever, one, I don’t really care, whatever, it’s a lot of talking. So I jumble my words, sorry. But back to what I was saying, if you’re a marketer or an advertiser, because those are two different worlds, we’ll explain those in different videos and different books and things, then having an edge is how you make it in life. Right? You know, having that small little edge over everybody else. So with this data right here, it’s a new trend having interactive content, right? The more interactiveness, the more user ability, the more user engagement, excuse me, you have on your site, what they’re saying is that people are going to retain your site more. Right? They’re going to remember you longer and it’s going to create a better user experience. Right? And then also gives you the opportunity to have more ads, and the more pages they go increases your ad money as a marketer, the more people they engage, the more shares you’ll get, the more email addresses that you’ll get. So very interesting, glad that I picked that one out.

If you read below or you get the book, then the book that I write, this one, obviously, there’s the link below to get this book. But if you also get the read below, you’ll get my more analysis of the chapter and more in depth. So that was pretty interesting. Talk to you later.

Benjamin Franklin

All right. Benjamin Franklin by Walter Isaac. Oh, look at these, you open the book and you’re automatically hit with… Boom. All right. The anatomy of a man, body as governed by 12 constellations. Okay. What is this? Okay. Yeah. Printed and folded by Benjamin Franklin. Right here. So, they’re talking about… I’m a Pisces or is it Pisces? Well, there is Cancer. So the Pisces is the arms. Here, I’ll let you see. I don’t know your own sign. You can figure it out for yourself. See, I’m the Pisces right here, and it says arms over here. All right. That was very random. However, let’s see if we can find any more of just… I knew we were going to have some pictures in this. All right. Let’s get to the pictures.

Okay. Well first, let me tell you what I’m going to… I’ll read a chapter. First, where is it. The table of contents, where would it be? All right. So, the chapter I’m going to read and discuss is, scientist and inventor. It was bound in Philadelphia, and it from 1744 to 1751. But right now through this video, because literally I’m going to have to just read a whole chapter, and I don’t think you want me to read the chapter with you, because I’m not going to read the whole thing. But I say this is a great time to look at pictures. All right. Let me get this out of here, because everybody likes pictures. So, right here, we’ve got Franklin’s birthplace, on Milk Street, in Boston, right across from the South Church, that’s what it says.

All right. Okay. We got Deborah Franklin, Sally Franklin. Who are all these people? William Franklin, Jean, Jean-Antoine Houdon, famous bust of Franklin. Here, lets see if you can look them. See, I think that’s Benjamin Franklin, but who knows? There is the little guy, died of smallpox. This whole bunch of old white people or American royalty, whatever. All right, well, this is the same one. What is… Poor Richard’s first edition. So this is his first edition, I’m guessing the newspaper that he was printing. Because it says printed and folded by Benjamin Franklin. That’s him drawing electricity from the sky.

Was it Benjamin Franklin with the key? I thought it was somebody else with the key. Anyways, we will find out with his inventions, right? So, look at some of his designs for musical instruments, for stoves. Look at this, he invented a battery, Franklin’s machine for collecting static electricity. Here. So, that’s a stove. You can pause the video and kind of look at what he is doing. That’s his musical instrument. That’s a battery. This was him collecting electricity. And then this is some map. Let me see what he is talking about, chart of the Gulf Stream based on Franklin’s notes.

Like I said, looking at pictures is always fun. So, him and foe, that’s him as a young man. That’s Thomas Penn, his rival, and then that’s Philly, or the Pennsylvania State House, excuse me. Oh, how many pictures are there? All right. Not that many. Franklin’s house in London. Franklin’s friend, William Strahan. Look at this, this is pretty cool. I like this. The America’s first political cartoon and it was produced by Benjamin Franklin, and another. So, that’s his house in London. That’s a friend. This is the first political cartoon. If you look at it, it’s pretty jazzy. It’s a snake that says join or die, and it has, I guess the 13 colonies.

Oh, look at this. This is the rough draft of the Declaration of Independence. I wonder how much that is worth. And then that’s kind of what we remember Benjamin Franklin when we see today. And it’s crazy. If you kind of look at the… If you take some of my other little courses, whatever, other little things that you can learn from, I think it’s the 10 secrets, and it’s under the 10 secrets of Tai Lopez. I try to talk about the 10 dark years, and I mean, 10 dark years can be much longer.

But we rarely think of Benjamin Franklin like that. I don’t recognize that person. If you were to show me that person and be like, who is that? Mm-mm(negative), some old person. You know what I’m saying? Some old English person. But he’s the godfather of America. But if you show me this picture, yeah, I know that’s Benjamin Franklin. Well, that’s a hundred dollar bill, right? So I say that to say this, that we all want to be remembered as young. But the truth of the matter is, is all the pictures of what we remember of people, they’re all old. If you think about it, George Washington. I don’t have any money on me right now. Do I? No. I think I got $20 in here. Thomas Jefferson, that’s an old person.

So the life that they go through, we never really remember the life that they go through. We only remember them when they’re old. But it took him maybe 40… Well, he looks like he’s probably 60. That’s Andrew Jackson. All right. And with, what’s his name? Benjamin Franklin. Is it Thomas Jefferson? No, that’s Andrew Jackson. Excuse me. Andrew Jackson. All right. See, I get my presidents wrong, [inaudible 00:09:20] they are either. But just to say, they’re all old. So we forget that most of these people had lived a whole entire journey, been broke, struggled, all that kind of good stuff before any of the pictures that we even remember them.

We only remember them in what? Thomas 1776, that’s when I remember, that’s why he was important to me. I’m rambling right now, I apologize. But that’s why he’s important to me. But, again, when he was younger… I’m going to read some more of inventors and things, to see if it has any relevance. When he was younger… This face means nothing to me. Nothing. Now, this face, all right, that kind of looks like him, right? Again, old. So, just remember that, to be able to be remembered forever, it’s going to take time. These people are remembered forever, but we don’t remember them as young people, we remember them as old.

Ed Otto NASCAR’s Silent Partner

All right. Well, we moved sides now. I’m looking at the other side of my bed. My bed’s not made, whatever, you can criticize me later. I don’t really care. Okay. So let’s look on this side. Let’s see what we got. Now, since I am in North Carolina and if you didn’t know anything about NASCAR and moonshine, the works, the Appalachian mountains is synonymous with moonshine and NASCAR. I was born in Asheville, which is literally on the mountains and right now I’m in Charlotte, which they have the one at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but even more important, they have the NASCAR Hall of Fame. So I say all that because I seen this book right here. Ed Otto, NASCAR’s Silent Partner. All right. Well let’s see what he did for the benefit of NASCAR.

That’s Ed Otto right there, silent partner. All right. My eyes aren’t working. I can’t read it through the phone, my eyes, it’s all blurry.

NASCAR comes knocking, racing ahead, a Yankee sport. Yeah because it’s all from the south. How was it a Yankee sport on the south? Look at this guy, look, we all know him. If you don’t, that’s P.T. Barnum from Barnum and Bailey’s.

Wait a minute now. I know we’re supposed to go to the north or whatever, but I just wanted to… The honest swindler, what is he even talking about? Swindler, an honest swindler, that’s what Ed Otto liked to call himself. It was a fitting expression and a common saying for a man who came of age in 1920s. How old is this guy? My goodness. We’re talking about the 20s, that looks like the 60s. Swindlers, in his mind, were the greatest showman on earth, they were the ultimate con man as in confident man, crooks, but in the playful sense of the word. They were guys who practiced shameless promotions, were good at giving people what they didn’t even know they wanted and could hoodwink with the best of them. They were masters of the hype who knew what the public would pay good money to see crazy things. He would also use the word swindle to describe a deal in progress. Wow. I’m almost going to… Screw the, this is a northerner’s sport. I like this one. This is interesting. He already got me here. He is an honest person, he’s like, I like a swindler.

The schmooze, a smooth talker, Otto was skilled in the art of schmooze and always maintain a pocket full of body jokes that he doled out when the time was right. Okay. Yeah. You got to learn a little bit about this guy. This is a nice… The savvy. Savvy part of Ed Otto understood the workings of the business world. How to spend money to make money, how to manage people, orchestrate logistics, solve problems, pay attention to trends, spot an opportunity and seize it. Okay. Yeah. This is going to be the soft touch. So this is all about sales and marketing. Okay. We’re done right here.

What was this guy like? I don’t know if they’re talking about Otto because I just picked something. What was the man like? He had brains, courage, perseverance, resilience, tenacity, humility, humor, energy, passion, and discipline. Strong sense of confidence and integrity, was downright unshakeable, people trusted him, he could keep secrets with an absolute clarity of right and wrong. Ed Otto did not come across as a hungry man, he was not easily intimidated. Interesting.

I mean, I know we were supposed to learn about how it was the northerner’s sport, but he kind of caught me on an honest swindler. Right. I saw P.T. Barnum and it was over, had I understand more. But I do like what he was saying. I mean, he’s talking about like a con man, but this is 1920 so that’s like a hundred years ago. So the perception of people and the perception like the names that we use people can change. He’s sitting there literally saying an honest swindler. When you think of a swindler, you don’t think of anything honest, you think of everything is like dishonest person. But the way that he’s saying, he said that he enjoyed the swindler, he’s even basically saying that P.T. Barnum was a con man. Today when we think of con man, we think of like a negative person, let’s send to jail but what he’s basically saying is the con man has the ability to give the crowd what they want because they can confidently manipulate your feelings for their benefit. It’s interesting because when we think about it today, like we have all the gurus and everything like that and by his definition, they’re honest swindlers. Can’t wait to read more, that’s going to be fun. The little excerpt, or whatever, notes then on this one should be interesting and insightful for all. Excuse me.

The Horizon Books Of Railways

Well hello. Today, we’re going to do it again, look at some books. I’ve seen a couple of books that look interesting so I’m not walking around. We’re just going to kind of zoom right at it because I kind of know what section of the library I want to look at, so. Whoa, just so you guys can kind of see more of the books, kind of inspire you more to become a learning machine, right. Machines. That’s what we’re trying to do.

Where was it? Here we go. Railroads or railways. Looks kind of like an old one right there, doesn’t it? And yeah, it really does. Hold on. Let’s look at what year did they make this bad boy? Wow, this looks ancient. Yeah, copyright 1961. So 23 years before I was born. My mom wasn’t even very old.

All right. Let’s check this one out. Okay. Look at this, early locomotives, some great pioneers, royal trains. I love royalty and I love the money or at least like, we don’t need to go more into that. 101, let’s check them out. Right. Let’s see what they got.

I’m going to let you guys look through the pages while I flip to 101 so you can kind of see how this book’s is kind of cool. I mean the pictures aren’t digitally mastered and look great. They remind you they’re super old, right? 60 years old. So here we go.

Look at that one. What is this? Look at that. What is this? High-speed multiple-unit electric train using 3000 DC. It runs between Rome, Florence, Milan. All right. Look at that one. You guys see it. That’s an interesting one. That’d be interesting to kind of see what kind of job he does. There are tunnels and bridges. Look at that. See this is part of the reason I’m doing this, because if you had no idea about…

Look at this drawbridge. Sydney Harbor, Sydney, Wales, Australia, or South Wales, or I’m confused. Yeah, there it is. Sydney Harbor, New South Wales. So yeah, it is Australia. Again, we’re kind of what all I was saying is unless… I don’t know, I’m going to be upside down. I apologize. There you go. So unless you have books like this, then you’ll never know what’s interesting, right. Because I mean, this is just some random book that I found and so far I’m like, Wow, I’ve already learned some things. Not even where I’m trying to go to. I’m trying to get to 101 here, but if you slip through it… I love them. Especially if they got pictures because a book with no pictures sucks, you know what I’m saying. Everyone likes pictures.

101, here we go. Royal trains. Let’s look at their cabins. All right. So this right here was used by Queen Victoria. See what I mean by pictures? They’re amazing. I can explain the story without even reading it. And then later I can read it and go in more depth about it. But there we go. This one, it says the day compartment, a saloon used for many years by Queen Victoria. Interesting fact, not really that important, but the queen used to like candles so when she was using it, it used to all be candles, but then it turned into electricity. Very interesting. Let’s see this one. It’s kind of bland. There’s nothing too shiny, but again used by Queen Victoria. Well, that’s it. That’s all we got. Well, here’s some British… No, the Queen of the Netherlands.

All right. I mean, it wasn’t the most exciting book in the world. I’m almost positive I’m going to have some interesting, just random facts, right. Nothing too important. Nothing that you can’t live without, but if you like trains and you like just random facts then it’s going to be interesting. I’m going to personally like it. I’ve never even… royal trains. That’s cool. That’s awesome. Let me kind of read what’s going on. What makes a royal train different than just a regular cabin, right? I mean, besides the bells and the whistles, but we’ll go from there. All right. I’m interested to read this chapter and write my little essay for you guys to know a little bit more. All right. See you later.

Theories Of Personality

As the world turns, we are back to another edition of Erik Looking At Books. I see one kind of interesting. We got Theories of Personality. That one looks kind of interesting. What do you guys think? Let’s take it out. What year is this? We got… Yup, by Calvin Hall, University of Cali, Santa Cruz. Gardener Lindzey, University of Texas. And then the teachers. How old is this? Wow, look. Look, this is pretty old, 1970. I wonder how long John Wiley & Sons? You’d think it would probably be great grandson just by now. I’m sorry. That was a dumb inside joke.

Okay. Let’s see what they got here. Freud’s Psychoanalytic Theory. Jung’s Analytic Theory. Social Psychological Theories. Murray’s… Okay. Okay. So they’re all just different people’s theories. What else do we got in this book? That’s just about it. Look at that. Nope, we got Roger’s Self Theory, Personality Theory & Perspective, Skinner’s Operant… Oh, this is going to be a great… I’m going to break every chapter down eventually, but that’s going to be great because everyone always wants to talk about personality tests and this and that and bluesy blousy. So now we got a book and an old one, right, that got all these different people. I’ve never heard of half of these people. I’ve heard Sigmund Freud, but that’s Lewin. That’s about it. What do we see? Stimulus Responsive Theory, 417.

Okay. So what they’re… I mean the first one, that’s a pretty good introduction. You can read it and I’ll read it out loud for you. “We shall present here the personality theory that is the most elegant, most economical, and shows the closest link to its natural science forebears. Stimulus response theory, at least in its origins, can accurately be labeled a laboratory theory in contrast to the other theories with which we have dealt with the role of clinical or naturalistic observations have been much more important.”

All right, let’s see if we got any little golden nuggets because obviously I already read the chapter. So we got this Russians whatever Ivan Pavlov. He was able to demonstrate that through the simple simultaneous presentation of unconditioned stimuli, meat paste, and the condition stimuli, sound from a tuning fork, the condition stimulus would eventually elicit a response, salvation, which originally could be elicited only by the unconditional stimulus. Unconditioned. Salivated to the sound of the tuning fork was referred to conditioned response.

I’m sorry. It got pretty interesting. He seized the same types of objective techniques… He seized upon Pavlov’s principle of condition and combining this with ideas he had already developed.

All right. Yeah. This is really interesting because you got a subchapter of the reinforcement theory. So yeah man, this is going to be really interesting and I’m going to be very glad to read it for you and go through it. So kind of that first little bit is… Well, it’s all stimulus response. So meat paste and the fork turning. You hearing it, right, you start to salivate. The stimulus is creating a response, right? At least that’s what I got so far. Whoa, this is a much larger chapter than I thought. Oh whoa. You’ve got to be kidding me. So this is a 40 page chapter, maybe 30. I doubt I’m going to be able to break it all the way down for you guys just because I only have 400 words. So what I’m going to do when I write the little paper is kind of give the maximum value that I find out in here. Now again, I won’t be able to give it all to you, but it’ll be as an action packed as I possibly can make it for you. All right.

How To Borrow Your Way To Real Estate Riches

All right. I’ve seen the one. Where did it go? We got How to Borrow a Way to Real Estate… Yeah, there it was. There you go. How to Borrow Your Way to Real Estate Riches, by Tyler G. Hicks. Let’s see what year this was. Well, 1979. Look at this, this is your first… Man, I can’t even think about how to do it. This is your first kind of like guru from back in the day. Let’s see. Wait a minute. There’s no way, dude. 1921? Are you kidding me? This is… Yes, you see? 1987. Where do you get the 19… Oh, that’s probably when he was born. Anyway. Look at this. It tells you, you can pick your income level. “You can make $1,000 a year, it’s 500.” You get to pick your level you want, using the methods he gives you in the book. So, we can do houses, apartments, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

He’s basically telling you… He’s in it, so you can get to $1 million back in ’87. Wow. Look at this list. He basically goes through all this. Okay. Where is the table of contents? Wow. That’s a whole bunch. “How Borrowed Money Can Make You Rich in Real Estate, Earn Real Estate Millions Using Other People’s Money, Put Zero-Cash Success Methods to Work for You. Mortgage Out to Build a Real Estate, Sure Steps For Getting Real Estate, Make Your Borrowed-Money Automatic Fortune Fast.” Let’s look at what he’s talking about. Let’s look at this, 57, put zero money. Zero money, man. Let’s see it. See what he’s talking about.

“Put Zero-Cash Real Estate Success Methods To Work for Yourself.” Okay. “Although every one of the thousands of BWBs have met needs…” What is a BWB? I wonder. “The kind of help these folks need… Five page… Word, money.” Okay this is mostly just… “Probably the most direct way to get started on zero cash is to borrow the money you need to buy a piece of income property. You can borrow the money in a number of ways. Signature loan, collateral loan, on purchase mortgage loan, on a loan…” Blah, blah, blah, blah. “Use a Signature Loan to Start.” Okay. “A signature loan is a loan that you get based on signing a note in what you promise to repay the lender. You do not put up any collateral to get a signature loan. The usual loan is based on…” Okay, whatever. “You can borrow as much as 20, other States a maximum of 10,000. Then there are mail-order lenders who will lend you as much as $25,000. You can get a free list of mail-order lenders from editors…” Okay. I wonder, we’ll have to check and see if they’re still there.

Wow. That would be completely crazy, if these people were still in business. I don’t know, obviously they got, probably, an internet website now. “Improve Your Signature-Loan.” You guys are basically just telling me… Okay, “Typical loan scoring system. More than 10 years, 25 points weekly income.” Wow. That’s really low, this is really old. “Credit rating, property ownership, owns a little cash value in property.” I’ll hold it right here so you can read. Okay, “Raise Money Faster. I want to thank you for book How to Borrow Your Way to a Great Fortune. The concept of offering a finder’s fee, including… I raised 50,000 for a corporate loan by offering a potential investor a finder’s fee that included a cosigner’s fee. Just as you suggested, the potential investor became intrigued with finding the money and ended up being the cosigner as well as the finder.”

Okay, look at that. What is that right here? “Other data for about 20 mail order limit.” Wow. And 800 numbers? Wow. Okay. He has a lot of different ways. This is going to be interesting. Here you go. Put it as simple as advertising and looking out for a loan, or a cosigner, so I’m going to go with you. “Get Credit-Card Loans, Make Rent Arrears Work for You.” What is that? “When we took our second income-producing building, there was a rent arrears account of 11,000. We had a clause inserted in the purchase contract that state that any rent arrears we could collect would belong to us, instead of the seller. As soon as we took over the building I started working on collecting back rents. Just four weeks I collected $5,500. So our down payment of $7,500 was reduced to $2000. Since most buildings have rent arrears of some amount when they are sold, this amount is very useful for reducing…”

Look, that was… I didn’t even know what the word meant. But, look at it like that, that’s another way to make money, right? That’s going to be an interesting one for everybody. I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a lot of people are interested in real estate, everybody loves real estate. All right, I’m hungry. I going to get something to eat. Talk to you all later on.

Onion Sports The Ecstasy Of Defeat

All right. Welcome back for another beautiful episode of looking through Eric’s books. All right. Let’s see what we got here. I’m looking at this right here, sorry. But then I’m also looking at this. The Ecstasy of Defeat. This book right here. If you like weed and everything. The Botany and Ecology of Cannabis. This book right here is a mastermind. If you want to grow and all that kind of stuff, it’d be great. It’s too much for me. It’s too scientific for me. I’m not really… I like to smoke weed. I’m cool. I tried growing it, I’m not very good. Like I said before, if you watch a different video, I am no way Doctor green thumb, not even a little bit.

The Ecstasy of Defeat. Sports reporting at its finest by the editors of The Onion, with a foreword by anabolic steroids. What? That doesn’t even make any sense. Wait a minute. Tiger Wood Announces Return to Sex, 175. I’m sorry. That is just, that’s coming up. That caught my eye. This is literally like all the stories. What page was it? 175. Tiger Wood Announces Return to Sex. All right, so Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. This is 10 years ago. I’m sorry.

All right, let’s see what this guy is talking about. “To be honest, I’d do it for free.” Woods added. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world.” During his amount, Wood released an aggressive touring schedule that affirmed his commitment to sex. He’s slated to take part in a three-day love making session in March at the Clarion Hotel in Orlando and confirmed that he would join a foursome at the Doral Resort and Spa in Miami as a tune-up for the first major fuckfest in Augusta, Georgia. In addition, Woods said he would not renege on his annual stop in Dubai and said he looked forward to boning a prostitute on the roof of the… what is this?

The 34 year old sexual superstar said he is far from satisfied by his previous erotic achievements and that he expects a return to sex even stronger than before. However, Woods admitted he may not in top form or may not be in top form at first.

I have absolutely no idea if this is true. Wow. He’s he’s like, “Not being able to get out there and have sex has really been rough on me.” Woods said. “I missed it. I love fucking with all my heart.” Woods said that during his brief time away from sex, he couldn’t stop thinking about one day resuming his daily regimen of sexual intercourse with random women who look vaguely like his wife, only skankier.

Go get them, Tiger. Go get them. That was 10 years ago. Wow. Again, I don’t know if this is true, but wow. We’re going to look a little bit more. Then I saw this too. In this little more of an article, because I don’t think I’m going to be able to cover 400 pages. We’ll go over here. This is April 19th. So this was February 19th, so a few months later, April 9th. Tiger Woods Followed Everywhere at Masters by Sex Addiction Sponsor. This is pretty interesting. I had no idea.

Wonder what Ted DiBiase’s talking about? A million dollar dream. Had reportedly fallen on hard times, admitting Tuesday he did not know the exact status of his one million fortune. “Well, the economy has been really bad lately and Virgil has made some terrible investments over the years.” Said DiBiase, shaking his head and adding that he hadn’t slowly counted a stack of bills in the backseat of a limousine in more than a decade. “I also lost track to where my briefcase is and that has about $5000 plus a bunch of IOU’s in it.” Ted DiBiase went on to claim that everybody has a price and said he was currently accepting offers to kiss people’s feet for a hundred dollars.

That’s 11 years ago, but that is super sad. I grew up with this guy. I love Ted, The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase. Now if you’re broke Ted man, that’s terrible. What’d you do with all your millions?

All right. But we’re again, we’re talking about Tiger Woods and his return to sex 10 years ago. I don’t even understand what this Onion thing is, but you got to love a crazy stupid story like that. Very interesting. It’s old, but hey, it got me laughing.

Science Encyclopedia

All right. Now, while we were looking at the last one. This probably is not going to be an order. I shouldn’t have said that because it’s not going to make any sense for you guys listening to this right now. However, back over here, right? We looked at the Drives of a Lifetime. It was all right, not my favorite. Let’s go to North American Locomotives. No, I don’t want to look at that one. Science Encyclopedia. I’ll get that. It looks more of a kid book, so a kid book would make it all easy with pictures.

Let’s check it out.

I need to put this book down here so I don’t forget. We got matter…can you see it? my dirty sweater. That’s good enough. Electricity and magnetism, energy, motion, and machines, matter and chemicals. Let’s see, good stuff. This is pretty interesting. See, I told you this is why I like kids books. They draw pictures for you, and there’s always interesting things on the side. For all the kids out there, look at your books now, because once you get to college and everything it’s all text. Let’s look at about time. I got another book around or somewhere with, what is his name? The guy in the wheelchair? I don’t remember what his name is, who wrote all those theses and books on space and time and black holes and whatever. We’ll see if this book over here, which it’s going to do more difficult to film perfectly, but whatever. You guys can hear me. 198.

Look at the pictures. I like these. This guy, here you go. Stephen Hawking. See, I knew what I was talking about. Stephen Hawking. That’s crazy. Space and time, deep space. You also did some things on time. They probably are, more or less, close to get…they got him in there already so they already studied on him. That’s…oh no. This way, maybe? If I’m upside down, I apologize. We’ll just get back to the book. So look. See, this is what I like, kids books are great. They show it real easy for you. You know what I’m saying? They show you the sun and the earth and then we’re outside, and monkeys and…I don’t remember what they’re called. Chimpanzees, maybe? To the Neanderthals, whatever to stone or that the Olympus or whatever it’s called. Then to cities and airplanes and space and space stations. See, this is pretty cool. I Like this.

This is the only page. Look at that. It doesn’t give us too much, but measuring time over years, months, and days are worked out time. We are looking…let’s see. Hopefully you guys can see we’re looking right around here. Hours, minutes, fractions of seconds. The nearest hour or two can be near enough if time is not the essence of traditional events. Minutes, as time keeping devices became more accurate minutes counted as when catching a coach or train. Fractions of seconds, with electronic timing, one or two hundreds of a second can now mean a new world record.

That’s pretty interesting. Like I said, I’ll go more in depth on the paper. What I’m probably going to do is go a little bit more in depth because that page that doesn’t have very much, on that one page, but we’ll probably go deep space. No, because time and deep space aren’t really connected. Time and changing times, right? Changing times and past and future, there we go. All three of those right would be great, but not like…this is what I mean by more or less like a kids book. You can learn a lot from a kid’s because they put pictures in and they make it really simple. You’re not going to learn, especially with these experiments, we can try these out, one of these days. Optical illusions, seeing is believing. we can learn about mold.

Especially if you have kids, get this and then they showed you how to do everything, right? Where did it go? Did you know, as the Earth’s climate gets hotter with global warming, ice in the Arctic and Antarctica may start to melt. Sea levels will rise and many low lying places could be flooded.

Did you know?

Yes, I did. You know what I’m saying?

This is another did you know. I did not know this. Maybe I didn’t know it, let me tell you. Ships and boats float higher in salt water than they do on fresh water and that’s because the salt water is more dense than the fresh water. They got experiments for all this stuff over here. That’s just kind of, again, with build a library and you never know what you learned, right? That’s kind of what this was all about. Again, this is the Science Encyclopedia right there. Look forward to you guys reading a little bit more if you’re interested. I want to try some of these experiments. They’re base for kids, excuse me, but they look interesting to me.

Subline Nature

See, that was my little theme music. What’d you guys think? Do not expect me to be able to do that theme music for a second time. ‘Cause I don’t remember, but it’s all good. I hope you liked this first time and only time. All right. I like this, this Sublime Nature. Just like, look through the artists. “Photographs in that awe and inspire.” and that’s what I’m talking about. All right. Let’s look for… Excuse me. It’s natural, right? It’s nature. Look at the buffalo running. Why is he…? Why? How come you only got two of him running. Him and him are running. The other ones kind of look like they’re kind of just moseying around, any which way. Look at. Oh, look at the penguins.

This is cool, man. Whoa. Try and get just the pictures in there for you. Those were the beginning pictures. All right. Now let’s… “Give, grace, joy, peace.” I mean, literally you guys see that the, we have four different things to choose from. Yeah. As we know this, isn’t going to be any in-depth article.

What is this? What the…?

Those are people. Where is that? Cave of Crystals in Chihuahua, Mexico. Oh, I know how to solve this problem. Well, I’m going to do is I’m just going to take like a small little picture for you guys of something and… Well, no, I’ll just do some research on them. If I find something, oh look at that guy that… That’s that’s an iguana eye.

Wait, wait a minute. Just the… What do you mean, an island collapses? Where does it go? So right here, it says, “After a small atoll island collapses, a magnificent azure sink hole remains surrounded by coral in the Blue Hole National Moment Lighthouse in Belize.” So wait a minute. There’s a sink hole, why is it? What do you mean? I don’t understand that. Why doesn’t the water just fill it up? That is very confusing. I will have to… We’re talking about the… So we got a couple of different ones, but we’re going to have to, I’m going to have to do some research on that. [inaudible 00:03:17]

I liked that Leonardo da Vinci said that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. Going to go further. Oh, that’s that’s a beautiful picture.

That’s an awesome one. I like the picture holding the… Or the bird holding the butterfly.

Oh, it’s dolphins. Look at that, that’s majestic. Is that even real? What is that?

“The twisted and contoured branches of an ancient bristlecone pine lie silently amid a snowy wooded landscape in California White Mountains.” That is a cool tree.

Lao-Tzu. “Nature does not hurry. Yet everything is accomplished.”

Oh, that’s beautiful.

That’s beautiful on the picture, when you’re there, it’s probably freezing. You can see all the snow. But with the moon and the day. Yeah. That’s what I’m talking about. “All nature… Wears one universal grin.”

Oh, that’s a nice rainbow.

It’s really defined over here. Look at that. And then over here, it’s a little, it’s not quite as much, but that’s awesome.

Oh, look. He’s doing a dance. Do a little dance. Make a little love. Get down tonight. Yeah. “Find out where joy resides and give it a voice far beyond singing, for to miss the joy is to miss all.” Robert Louis Stevenson.

This is a… Verreaux’s. Sifaka. “Hops from tree to tree across open ground in the spiny desert of Southern Madagascar.”

All right. Well, I mean, honestly, I think you guys seen enough pictures. Hopefully these pictures incited you a little bit and more like, look at some of them for yourself. What’s this? “One touch of nature makes the world, or the whole world kin.” All right, William. Oh, wow. Look at that picture. Let’s keep going.

Emily Dickinson said, “Hope is the one thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.” That can be a very dangerous statement. Very dangerous.

What is that? And some kind of animal, look at that. Look at that. Oh, it’s a seal. I would have never guessed it was a seal, but yeah, it’s a seal. Look at his nose. You got to see him, see it over here. It says… I can’t get it into focus, whatever. I’ll let you guys look at this and I’ll read it to you. “Sensitive the whiskers twist and curl on the snout of a bearded seal in Svalbard, in Norway.” In Norway.

And this is the last one. Then we’re going. By William Blake: “To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.”

The Richest Man Who Ever Lived

All right, back over here. Let’s go back to this juicy, juicy row we got over here. The Richest Man Who Ever Lived: King Solomon’s Secret to Success, Wealth and Happiness, Steven K. Scott.

Let’s learn about the richest man that’s ever lived. Let’s see how he accomplished having health, wealth, and happiness. Well, success, wealth and happiness. I mean, how do they know he had health or if he was happy? Just because he was rich doesn’t mean he was necessarily happy. But you know, just for the book, let’s assume that they are right, that King Solomon was extremely happy and rich.

Dedicated to a whole bunch of people… Scrolling, trying to find… There we go, table of contents. Let me spread this book just a little bit so we can see it.

All right. The Key to Winning Every Race. The Activity That Creates Extraordinary Success. The Key That Opens Any Door. The Happiness Secret. Obviously I’m not reading all of them. Winning and Resolving Every Conflict. Turning Your Worst Enemy To Your Best Friend. Disarming the Booby Traps to Success. The Biggest Cause of Financial Loss. Solomon’s Foundation for Success. The Four Qualities That Make You Invaluable, one-oh-five. Yeah, let’s check it out… A little far… One-oh-five. Look, wow. This is a pretty long chapter where it’s 117 and we’re still there. Oh, well, it doesn’t matter. We’ll just pick right here.

All right. I have a proverb. Graciousness, the attribute that raises you up in the sight of others. A gracious woman attains honor. I don’t know if that’s the one I really want to use. That wasn’t like generosity. No, let’s do a better one. The ultimate cause of dishonesty that we may not see until it’s too late. Dishonesty, the consequences of dishonesty that we may not see until it’s too late. Dishonesty destroys the foundation of relationships with others and with God, very interesting. Dishonesty produces never-ending stress. Okay. Why? Deep down inside, you carry a hidden fear that one day your dishonesty will be exposed. You also know you have to keep your story straight. Dishonesty forces you to always think about your past lies, so you won’t say anything contradictory that exposes those lies. All of this creates stress, and we’ve already seen that stress not only robs us of any potential joy, it also ultimately steals our health as well.

Dishonesty ultimately creates unexpected crashes. Every year there are a number of train wrecks, dozens of plane crashes, and millions of car accidents and no one ever boards a train or airplane or steps in the car thinking they’re about to be in a traumatic or fatal crash. I would hope so. Likewise, no one ever tells a lie or hides the truth thinking that doing so is going to destroy the very life that they’re trying to enjoy. But it does. Sooner or later, nearly all dishonesty is discovered by others, and when it does, a crash always results.

That was some heavy stuff right there. Wow. I like how he used the whole airplane analogy and like, you know, no one ever thinks that going into the car might fuck you up. And you know, you never really think of how much a lie… like, this big of a lie, right… Even the little itty bitty ones can really, truly might have, like, a drastic negative effect on the future. Right? So that’s exciting, in that I’m interested in learning a little bit more from this book, The Richest Man Who Ever Lived, King Solomon. Right. And I enjoyed that. It made a lot of sense. Kind of makes you think a little bit. I hope you learn something from it. And I look forward to you reading the article below.
