Juicing March 23 Noon Test

Welcome back. All right. So this is our drink. Um, I feel like there’s a little bit of foam up on top, so it’s not very bad.

Just get it off. All right. Now I’m just being

Overzealous. Alright, let’s give it a nice little stir.

I can smell the cucumber. The cucumber is very strong.

Put some seltzer water in here, but, uh, as you see it, there’s not enough space. I miscalculated my fruit and that will really, yeah, really my fruit. It’s just the melons. The melons are amazing. They’re great. But you’re going to just have Mellon. All right. Uh, the watermelon, the cantaloupe. I got some other kind of funny Mellon, but first I got to get through these theory melons first, and then I got another minibar watermelon. So we’re going to be having melons for a few days until I get really tired of them. All right. Let’s give this a try. Oh, first, first, I’m sorry. Sorry. Let’s let’s recap. What’s in this. All right. So we started off with oranges. No, well lemons then oranges. And that was with our venti whatever machine. And then with our Mueller machine, whatever, uh, we have some cucumber, some sweet potato is watermelon cantaloupe and honeydew.

I don’t know. That’s that is a lot of last a lot going on, right there is to say like, Whoa, that’s a lot going on. I mean, let me try it again. Hi, it’s this is difficult. It tastes like everything and tastes like nothing at the same time. It’s it’s hard to explain. Um, I gotta, I gotta do it again. I’m sorry.

Like, I can tell the oranges, the oranges for some reason. And if you paid attention to the other video and saw me put how much orange juice that is actually in here, you’d be surprised. There’s not very much orange in lemon juice in here, but it is, you can, it’s a distinct flavor in here. Like it’s,

There’s a lot going on, man.

I have like my mouth

It’s sticky,

Like orange juice and lemonade. Right? So that’s that’s justifiable. That makes sense. I can’t can’t can’t get frustrated with the stickiness cause it’s, it’s literally supposed to do that. Um,

This is a difficult one. You know what? I bet you would be better. It again, I like strawberry. So what if I had some strawberry, like some strawberry juice in here would be pretty good?

I don’t know. So, all right. So the bulk of the water, or excuse me, I’m sorry. You can’t see what I’m talking about. The bulk of the fluid in here is of our Mellon. All right. Is our melons are watermelon cantaloupe in our, in our, um, honeydew, right? So that’s where majority of our, our, our, like water’s coming from, but I don’t taste any, like before I, and other drinks I’ve been able to taste the cantaloupe and maybe the honeydew, but with this, not at all, not at all, the, the orange is really overbearing. Um,

Hold on. All right. When I was doing,

I could taste the cucumber, But, uh, the lemon and the orange, like the citrusy kind of like stickiness in my mouth after there that’s strong, but this, I don’t know.

This is St your drink.

I’m not going to say it’s bad. I cannot say it’s bad. It’s actually, it’s, it’s pretty good. It’s almost getting stronger. No, no, that would make sense. Cause the, I was about to say it’s almost getting stronger, like more orangy and more lemony. The closer to the bottom that we’re getting. Well, obviously Eric, because that’s where all the orange and the lemon juice is at the bottom, but yeah, like it’s getting like much more orangy and lemony, much more citrusy towards the bottom, towards the bottom. Excuse me.

I had forgotten until I took that last sip because I could see the bottom. And if you’ve seen other episodes or volumes, whatever you wanna call this, uh, you’ll see that I have, um, like what sweet potato. There’s kind of like a white filming stuff at the bottom. I kind of start to look and with this at the bottom, it’s there as well. So we know when was the sweet petard sweet potato, just kind of disintegrates onto the bottom. Um, That’s could also, that could be the other like underlying factor what’s going on in my mouth, right? With the stickiness and then kind of the sweet potato dryness. It’s like, I’m telling you, this is, this is a world of different flavor right here.

But let’s not forget the most important part of this experiment is that we’re looking for a boost in energy, you know, give it like 20, 30 minutes. Cause this is a lot of juice so that it kind of go through my system like P one good one time where I’ll be on the treadmill and have to go to the bathroom, um, Using this experiment to, to boost our energy naturally opposed to going to the store and buying energy.

I mean, it’s good. I don’t have any complaints, no complaints, man. No complaints at all.

It’s it’s good. Not often. Do you see me try to get every last drop, right? This is good enough for I’m trying to get every last drop besides the or the phone, like I’m not going to drink the phone, but this is good.

Can’t do the rest of it’s phone. All right.

March 24 Am Test

So today our little concoction is, uh, like a water down rainbow. All right. We got, literally got, well, we got this color down here at this mid color. We’ve got a little green little, I mean, it’s just, it’s just everything you got all the colors, man. Right? It looks like we got a little foam on top. So let’s go fishing for our phone. Oh yeah. That’s some thick, well, no, it’s not that thick. Just the top, top left. It’s not as foamy as I thought it looked really for me. I’m not that bad. It’s just that look at that. This is it’s thick. All right, let’s give it a stir.

Yeah.

Now as I stir, this was, remember what’s in here. We have cantaloupe, an Apple, a couple of key weeds. Um, come on, help me out here. Uh, squash, zucchini, carrot, and sweet potato. I think I got everything all know That looks good. Let’s give it a shot. Let’s give it a whirl. Oh, we got grapes in here too. That’s not bad at all. That’s pretty good. Um, need some ice. It’s a little warm. Um, but other than that, it’s good. I, yeah, that’s what I need to do. I didn’t even go ahead and put everything in the frigerator freezer and then I’ll bet you I’ll have some cold water in the morning. That’s really good. All right. There’s not, I can’t, there’s nothing about that. I can complain about it has a smooth, it has. It’s not like water. So it kind of has this as a little thickness. Like it’s not fixed smoothie. It’s not water. It’s God. All right there in the middle. Kind of like a, like if you take those nutritional drinks, like, um, insurer or something kind of has the consistency of an insurance, um,

Mental side note

Do not take those drinks. Um, they say that they’re nutritional and tell you, look into it. And it’s literally, you’re just shooting herself with a whole bunch of glucose, like straight sugar. That’s all it is. It’s thick sugar. I’m just letting you know I was taking those, uh, cause I had a problem eating and I just drink one of those in the morning. And then I started to pay attention tools is actually inside of them and they are, there’s nothing nutritional about any of it. Right. It’s really bad for you. Anyways, back to this, this is really good.

The grapes, that’s what that is.

It’s not the great drink or, you know what I’m say, this is real actual grape juice, right? It’s a freshly smashed grapes. Um, so it’s, it’s, it’s good. Like there’s, I’m trying to think of something profound to say about it, but it’s, there’s nothing really profound to say about this. It besides. It’s good. Um, it has that chalkiness that I’ve discussed before that comes with the sweet potato.

Excuse me. Um,

It’s re it’s sweet, right? It is it’s.

I think part of why I can continuously do this is how sweet all this, the drinks are. Um, now you’ve watched me. I haven’t put, I haven’t there’s no added sugar in any of this. Right? It’s it’s straight, natural, um, natural sugars. So one, I, I, there has to be some nutritional benefit from just natural. Um, but then other than that, like the flavor’s not bad. It’s the only, my only turnip would be it’s not cold. Right? I don’t like everything freezing cold. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want like it, I don’t want a brain freeze, but it’s just kind of,

It’d be like two or three degrees cooler and there we go. That’s a good drink. That’s a really good drink.

Whoa.

I don’t know how long it’ll hold me over. As in like, uh, a drink as an F filler drink, like to fill you up. How other, excuse me, however, excuse me. I do see how this, this has the potential to, to kind of, you know, I’m gonna eat a banana after this, right? So I have a feeling it’s what four o’clock in the morning. Um, I have a feeling this, my banana and this drink will hold me over until our lunch juicing. Now it’s really early in the morning because I don’t know if you, if you watch yesterday’s version or if you pay attention to earlier, part of the reason I’m doing this, um, I woke up and I really early, early hour is I’ve had a problem drinking three of these in a day. That is a lot of liquid going into my system, which I’m just not used to that.

I remember before, before I started working out and everything. So at the beginning of the year, I drank less than one of these, a day of water. And now I’m supposed to drink like three or four of these a day just for working out. And then another, like three of these that is a lot of water. And that’s a lot of as compared to my body’s over here, like, what are you doing, man? I had to pee more often and everything, which is good. It’s it’s, I’m not knocking it out. I’m not saying it’s a negative thing. I’m not saying it’s a, it’s a unproductive thing. It’s just was very difficult for me to drink my lunch at two and then expect me to drink another one at like seven. It’s just, wasn’t going to work. Not enough time in between. So waking up super early, trying to get this down before, you know, four 35 in the morning, and then maybe at 11 to 12, you do another one.

And then at three to four or five, I’ll be ready for another one. Now our middle one is in the middle of the day. Just kind of doing some homework or some house cleaning because I don’t know how many videos you’ve watched in the middle of the day. What we’re, what we’re doing is we’re transforming, uh, basically fruit and trying to transform it into a sort of an energy drink. All right. So we’re, we’re in the middle of the middle session. We’ll have more citrus fruit, cause I have another juicer for the citrus fruit. And then we’ll kind of combine them together to make one sugar water, sugar water, each drink to compete against a monster.

Was another interesting thing yesterday. I tried to take a nap. Now I wake up early after my little, um, but this was before the energy drink, but it was after my morning drink, I tried to take a nap. It wasn’t working right? So I was able to slow down, but my mind wasn’t going to sleep. So I’m not a hundred percent sure it could have just been an anomaly. However, it’s a mental note that I have to pay, pay attention to. And then let’s track. Cause if, if, if by drinking this juice, cause we’ve been doing this, this is week number three. So our bodies started as already kind of washed the old way and it starting to adapt to this new and innovative way of us drinking a lot of vegetables and a lot of fruit. Cause this is this a massive amount of nutrients coming into my body that hasn’t been here before.

So what I, um, need to really start focusing on now are the changes that are occurring since I’ve been doing this now first week. Yeah. You’re not going to see anything second week and maybe third week changes. Now I have to start paying attention to like, okay, I was able to do this at this speed before now I’m able to do it at this speed. Does that make sense? So now while we’re doing this now I was just going to take probably another month or so for our, our system. Cause you know, our cells are always rejuvenating itself or like rebuilding them themselves. So now we’re rebuilding our, our entire body makeup or full DNA makeup with nutrients and minerals and different, different, different ingredients in our bodies had before. So I want to really see how my body reacts to my influx of vitamins and nutrients. I don’t know if that made any sense. I mean, I could, if I wouldn’t, wouldn’t talk in so much, I would have already had this done. Now we do have some of the foamy at the top, so I probably wouldn’t be able to get all the way down to the bottom. But uh, since we’re already at 11 minutes, I got to stop talking to me and drink faster.

March 24 Night Juice Process

All right. Welcome back. There we go. We got everything prepared. Let’s start with the home grown. That is, I mean, there’s no real special art and stuff in it in there. This kind of stuff. Now look like a lot, but I doubt we’re going to get very much juice. That’s why we have this big [inaudible] form just a little bit. Alright. So there’s our, our drink looks really good. Doesn’t it? Not at all. It looks terrible, but all right. I got a dump. The rest of that in there. There’s not very much, but there’s still a little bit left in there and I will see you guys in just a minute. Why we test it and see how this beautiful, whatever you want to call that tastes. All right. See you mate.

March 24 Night Juice Test

All right. Welcome back. So in here we have my freshly grown lettuce, a romaine heart, which is just a big stick of lettuce. Um, honeydew, watermelon, and then a lot of strawberries. Now I didn’t give us a full cup, but it was closing up. Uh, let’s see, let’s kind of check our foam. See how much foam this gives us. Yeah, it gives us a little, maybe like a scooper to a phone. Get that top little a little bit off. We’re really not very much enough or not nerd. Excuse me. Not very much at all. Now let’s give it a stir so you can kind of see what’s going on and we change clothes. All right, drum roll please. All right. Let’s see how it tastes.

I taste the lettuce. I tasted kind of like I’m eating a salad or drinking a salad. However, is this good? It has a very distinct lettuce flavor, which makes a lot of sense because actually there’s not that much juice, lettuce juice, and here’s some more mango or not mango. Excuse me. More watermelon and honeydew juice in here. That’s that’s the majority of the juice. It’s those two. However, and then, you know, the strawberry strawberries gave us a little bit, but not enough to really write home about the honeydew and watermelon. Give it are giving it a nice, like, hold on. Let’s do it again. Yeah. So it’s this is, this is this right here. It’s different. This is good. It’s different than all the other ones I’ve tried. It’s it’s weird. Cause their ingredients isn’t very much different. Cause I’ve experimented with most, all of them. This is refreshing for one, like I can still feel my mouth having like moisture as you’ve heard me complaints. Some of it gives me a stickiness in my mouth. Some of it’s makes my mouth chalky this. After I drink it, I feel like my mouth still has water in it.

This is good. It’s good. It’s it? So it w hopefully, uh, the lettuce does what it’s supposed to do. And it gives me a relaxing feeling. Well, you know, it says anti-anxiety so in my eyes, that means relaxation. So if it, if this drink calms me down and tonight, if I sleep soundly, then I might be on to something. Now of course, we’re going to tweak it, but lettuce is, needs to be our domineering ingredient because it provides our sleep aid and it provides our anti-seizure anti-anxiety excuse me. So when we add those two together, that’s those two ingredients, the, the sleep aid and the anti-anxiety, I’m trying to implement that on a daily basis. So the second, so that’s our core product. Our second, just like in, for our energy, oranges are mostly our core product in the morning. We don’t really have a core product it’s more or less. Let’s just throw things together. But at night lettuce in for our energy drink, oranges cause the oranges are hiring.

So yeah, it’s back to where we were, where I was going with this. The lettuce is providing let’s. Hold on. Let’s try it.

All right. If you pay attention on some of them, I’ll I’ll I say,

Hold on. I lost it for a second. I, I was about to say lettuce, but my mindset celery, and then me re correcting my mind. I forgot what I was about to say. So hold on, let me take another swig. Hopefully that’s not a, Oh, well, no, we’re not happening. Buck choice. So we don’t have any brain power control. So maybe we’d add that every night, you know, have a sleep aid, have an anti-anxiety aid and then he knows some brain power. That’d be a good mix.

Yeah. That’s what it was. That’s what it was. All right. You know how sometimes I say, uh, that’s why I was thinking celery. All right. Put it together now. Boom. Makes perfect sense. So what I was getting at is with the celery, it kind of has that thick consistency and it doesn’t. And then I was, I kind of complained about it kind of being warm, like thick and warm. This is not, this gives it the refreshing kind of cool flavor. Uh, you could drink this, obviously it doesn’t look like it because it’s green, but again, a couple of ice cubes outside. Now, if it’s inside and it’s been in the fridge or if you’re just drinking it, how I am right now, it’s perfectly fine. But I’m saying if you were by the pool, right. And it’s 80 degrees outside and it’s nighttime, this would be a good drink to have with maybe a little bit of a little bit of ice

But, well, I’m going to try that. I just had an epiphany. Um, no, this, this drink just have me think about it. Like what if you were to mix the moonshine that I know how to make

There’s classes on that you can take on. I teach you how to do that and then you mix it with this and, Oh my goodness. That’s revolutionary because the reason I say this, because I make my moonshine out of the fruit. So I distill it with, I don’t add fruit flavor and I distill it with the fruit. Right. So having, so it creates like more of a fruit flavor, liquor. So then having whatever base, this is like, uh, maybe a watermelon liquor have a watermelon liquor in here. That’d probably be really good. I don’t want to talk too much about liquor because this is supposed to be all age group for everybody, but click the button. And there’s probably a link by the time you see this, if not, there will be so check back and then I’ll have a whole series on moonshine and juicing, As you see we’re getting there. Uh, it’s, it’s no complaints at all. I’m going to give it a nice little

No complaints. This is really good. The after flavor again, kind of gives that, that legacy flavor kind of like you’re eating a salad, but no complaints. It’s good. As you can see, it goes down. No problem.

That last stir? Um, did it all, did it’s uh, allowed me to drink more of this. If that makes sense. I forgot to take a picture. So we’re going to cut to the video right here. I’m going to drink this. It’s just no, I’m going to drink it all, but I’m going to take a picture.

March 25 Am Juicing Process

All right, welcome back. So you see, we’ve got everything prepared and let’s start the process. Let’s start with, uh, I see why the fruit needs to be on the other side now. Um, I apologize because of the light, the lights on the other side, cause usually the fruit is on the left side of the juicer, but today it’s on the right and I apologize for that because there’s a shadow. Now let’s not forget we’re using the Mueller a grinder. Let’s start with, we’ll start with the carrots today.

What was that? Maybe five carrots. Now let’s mix in some of the apples. Cause there are Browning

let’s give it a quick break. Now

We’ve got our Apple or sweet potato in our carrot. We got our broccoli. Oh, we’ve got Christmas left our broccoli and our strawberry and our Kiwi. So let’s see if we’re going to stay this color or if the broccoli and the key, we are going to change our color attack. Now we know this is kind of like strawberry. So the strawberries aren’t going to do anything, but we’re going to mix it up a little bit. Throw a little green in here. Some broccoli all right, let me talk to you guys. Can just second, let me clean up and I will meet you on the other side.

March 25 Am Taste Test

This is what we’re looking at right now. Let’s do our initial scoop for phones. Not really much of anything as you can see it, it just flops right in. So we’ll give it a nice stir. We don’t have very much juice this morning. Uh, that’s my fault. I’m kind of running out of vegetables and everything and we didn’t use it.

We use any melons this morning. [inaudible] that’s pretty good.

You can taste the Apple. I got two apples. So let’s recap. What’s in, in this beautiful drink. We have carrots, sweet potato broccoli, Apple key. We struggle. That’s what I’m smelling. I’m smelling the broccoli. Can’t really taste it, but I can smell it. You know how broccoli has that? Like vegetable, dirt kind of smell. I don’t, I don’t really know how else to put it. Besides broccoli has a dirt smell, right? Like it’s a bar. It’s a very distinct broccoli.

No,

It’s very sweet. Um, yeah, it, it kinda, it’s not foamy as in a bad way. Remember we have that, the sweet potato in here, and if you’ve watched other videos, then you kind of understand how sweet potato kind of makes things chalky. Right? So my mouth is a little chalky, but it’s the sweet potato also provides a lot of sweetness, like obviously sweet potato. So with the sweetness of a and surprisingly carrots have a lot of sweetness as well. So this drink for, if you’re trying to find a substitute for sugar, this is really sweet and right. So it’s not, it’s not. Um, all right. So let me give you a quick example. When I was in Columbia, South America, um, they have like regular juice, like orange juice, and then there’s also a Tropicana, right? Which is American. So before I used to always get the Tropicana, but then, uh, my, my friend, she was like, she told me like, this is really sweet. I never had paid attention to it. It’s just that, that’s what warrants, juice tastes like to me, Tropicana. But then, you know, when you try the other stuff, it’s kind of bitter and it’s not as sweet. There’s still sugar in it, but it’s not added sugar. Right. So this right here, it’s really sweet, but it’s not added sugar. Sweet. If that makes sense.

Yeah. There’s no, yeah. It’s the, the consistency of the sweet potato again, since it is so starchy, I guess it starts, I could be wrong. Could be fiber on now, but it is it’s leaving that, that chalky, dry feeling in my mouth. Like what? We’re, we’ve become accustomed to the, I think, um, let, we’ll give it another shot. This it’s good though. It’s good. Um, I’m not going to say it’s bad. It’s good. I wouldn’t think that this an orange drink, like this would be very good, but it is

Now there’s a distinct flavor in here. I just can’t. I can’t pinpoint it. I can’t. And that’s, it’s, it’s almost, it’s really frustrating. Now when I, when I took that last deep goal and then, uh, breathe air out, I could taste the broccoli. I could like it. Those are distinct broccoli tastes. But other than that, I, if you were to tell me there’s broccoli in this, I wouldn’t be able to tell you, I wouldn’t believe you. I mean, mind you, it was just the juice. So it’s not really like it’s actual broccoli, but, um, if we’re getting the nutrients of everything, like here’s, this is kind of where my stance is. Uh, we’ve been doing this. This is week number three.

If I can like separate the drinks because drinking three of them in a day, that’s a lot of water at this back in the picture. Um, I haven’t been able to do three in a day, maybe like one or once or twice. I’ve, I’ve been able to squeeze three, three juicings in a day, but it’s just, it is massive. It is a lot of liquid going into my body, which my body’s not used to. And then I’m also hungry. So, um, it’s like a double whammy, but I’m not 100% sold that I’m getting any nutrients into my body. Now I know that sounds retarded or stupid. Excuse me. And I know that I’m putting something into my body. Part of me is it’s just so slow in a sense, right? Is I’m not, it’s not instant gratification. So I’m not noticing any like instant change. Now, what also makes this difficult is because I’m changing. Okay.

Excuse me. I’m changing ingredients on a daily basis or even on a session basis. So like I haven’t had bok choy in what, five days. So if I were to just eat bok choy and drink the bok choy juice consistently, then I’d probably understand and see the effects of bok choy faster. But since I’m changing the, the nutrients and changing the fruits and changing the vegetables, then I’m giving myself, uh, like, uh, a cocktail, uh, nutrition, nutrition cocktail, which I don’t know if I’m being productive while doing this, or from being counterproductive. However, we’re going to continuously do this, but I guess where I’m getting there, that is this hydration, right? Because there’s no possible way drinking all these juices. I’m not working on hydration. So that’s a positive. If nutrition is going into my system with all these different drinks that I’m coming up with, then it’s a great supplement for anything else.

Right? Cause if you, I swear to you, if you were to drink three of these, you’re not going to drink soda. You just don’t have enough space in your system, right? You’re like three of these a day. That’s my I’m waking up this it’s before what? I think it’s before five o’clock in the morning right now having my first drink so that I can squeeze in two more for out the rest of the day, because it takes a minute for this to go through my system. Right? So if you were to drink three of these in a day, it’s gonna solve a lot of your problems, not in the fact of, Oh, I’m fat. And I’m trying to get skinny just on the, the sugar intake and the not having enough room in your system, right. You’re going to be, if you were to try to drink four of these, you’re right, you’re going to be peeing all day long.

You spend most of your time in the bathroom, just because of how much fluids you’re putting into your system. Now, the benefit of the nutrition. That’s great, but we can’t see that we, we can’t gauge that at the moment. So we can only gauge off of the things that we know. And what we do know is that hydrating ourselves is, is a good thing. And you know, it’s giving us our sugar, funny quotes or whatever. It’s giving us a decent sugar intake because of the natural sugars, which is supplement, or it’s basically satisfying my cravings for sugar, for a sense, right now, I’m not a hundred percent sure I’m not going to jump off of this and go to the store and go grab a coffee, which I probably will. But the more I drink, these, the better, the more hydrate I’m going to be, the more enjoyable it is.

Because once you it’s kind of like working out, once you get in yourself into a routine, then it just becomes second nature. So this is a healthy route. This is a much healthier routine. Then let’s say drinking, you’re smoking. So whether or not this truly has nutritional benefits or whatever, that doesn’t matter because this, what is when you’re thinking of things, what is the alternative? If the alternative is carbonated sugar, then this is much better. Does that make sense? So, yeah, I might not be Popeye the sailor man and have big muscles and everything after this. But what I am doing is I’m transforming my mind and one hydrating it more shooting myself with nutrients, maybe, maybe not, but it’s a, it’s a better habit. It’s a better, better habit to have than other vices. So it’s really just think of what is the alternative. Don’t always think about what, well, it’s not doing, I want you to need it to do well. What’s the alternative if it’s better than the alternative and stick with it. All right. Since I was a little bit long-winded lecture, so got quite a bit of juice and we’re already over time. So I’m going to drink this pretty fast.

March 25 Noon Juicing

All right. We’re back. We’re time, uh, to get juicing. So we see our, uh, sugarcane are bok choy, our spinach, our apples, and our prune. And of course our oranges. So let’s start with our oranges. Remember we are using the Vinci model juice maker.

Now I could let it spill out, but I want to see how much juice this creates for two oranges all at once. Instead of doing it in sections.

March 25 Noon Taste Test

Welcome to our energy drink session. Here’s our energy drink. I have no idea if this is going to do anything, it might make me throw up. Might make me gag. I have no idea. We’re trying to new ingredients, which, uh, the grinder, the muter mixer was having a little bit of a trouble trying to mix it up a little sugar cane. So we’re going to see how sugar cane helps out with our intention of

Making a sugar energy drink. That’s healthier than your regular monster or red bull. So let’s recap. What’s in this green goodness, we have orange juice, freshly squeezing, or squeezed orange juice. Mind you apples, bok choy, spinach, sugar, King, and a plum. Not too exciting, nothing too, too scary. Um, hopefully my, my fruit is more powerful than the vegetables, I guess. That’s, I guess that’s, that’s kinda where I’m more nervous than anything is just the fact that, uh, there’s fruit in here. But then I also have bok choy and spinach, so I don’t really want to drink spinach and bok choy. So hopefully this has a better flavor than just spinach water. It looks really like spinach water, but it’s not,

Very different, very different. It tastes like a funny orange juice.

Let’s do it again. 

I want to say it’s refreshing in a weird way. Don’t give up, don’t get it twisted. I had no intention of this being a refreshing drink. I was more looking for that boost in sugar and energy, but it’s, it’s kind of refreshing. I’m going to put a little, couple ice cubes in here. What I’m trying to figure out. What is this? You see this, this little line right here. There’s some type of color in here, which wasn’t earlier. I don’t know what that is.

Wow.

Now this does have a distinct orange juice flavor, not your Tropicana. That’s that’s orange juice, sugar flavor. Right? But I love Tropicana. Don’t get me wrong. I liked minute made too. So I’m not saying it in a negative way. However, uh, this is really kind of, you know, sour, um, like orange juice sour. And it’s given me the kind of stickiness in the back of my throat. It’s not like sours and lemon sour it’s hours and like orange juice sour. If that makes sense, there are different sizes.

Nothing bad at all. This is good. Um, I liked strawberries. So what leave me alone and put some strawberry juice in here. And I think it’ll be a little bit better.

The one thing that I will say, and this is probably my, my own fault. If I were to keep the oranges and the apples in the fridge, I bet you this would be a better drink just for the simple fact is it’s not cold. And so I’m, I’m kind of drinking like warm juice, which don’t get me wrong. It’s still good. But, uh, it would be better if it was cooler. I even on this one, I even tried to put it in the freezer while I was cleaning up. Before it came in here, it’s just, didn’t get cool at all. It’s that would probably be the only thing that’s wrong with this Of Everything that could possibly be wrong with this concoction. The only thing that I see as being wrong Is the Temperature I have. Now we have to keep trying the sugar cane. Why? Because I have no idea if I’m tasting sugar cane or not. If you watch over the video, little droplets of sugar King came out kind of like when the ginger, but I can’t promise because I also mixed the bok choy after. Cause it was making those kind of breaking the machine I cut out. Right? So I was like, you know, let’s put some bok choy in there, kind of help it out. It did not help just let you know it made it worse. However, when I was doing the sugar cane and it was spinning around and it was basically doing nothing, little droplets of juice were coming out. So hopefully those little droplets happen. In fact, I’m not sure we’re going to keep doing it. And we’re just, we’re only going to be using the sugar cane for the middle of the day.

If it’s making droplets of sugar and it’s dropping it, this drink into this drink, then I will have to say mission successful for the whole simple purpose is that we’re trying to influx ourself with a massive amount of sugar, um, to replicate and monster or a red bull. Cause that’s just sugar syrup. So weaning ourselves off of fake sugars onto natural sugars. Cause there’s no glucose in here. At least I don’t think there is maybe there’s glucose in here, but if I’m correct, there’s no glucose in here. It’s just straight natural sugars. And then adding the sugar cane just amplifies the natural sugar effect, which hopefully this gives me my brain health power with the spinach and the bok choy and gives me the sugar rush from the oranges and the, you know what I’m talking about? The sugar cane

Okay. Again, no complaints from my end of things. This is, this is really good. Um, the only thing I could say is cool it down, it’s a little warm, but if that’s my only issue is the temperature. We can make this every day. Of course, I’m not going to make it every day. I know what I messed up on. I’m supposed to put a little lemon in here, a little lemon to, I forget little the acid, it easy to help me do this or that or whatever. If my pH balance is out of whack than a lemon supposed to help me bring it back and, and be able to digest my fats or some, I don’t know. I got, I’ll give you a much better in depth analysis on each one of these fruit and what is the point of us eating these fruit? However, right now I’m going through the motions, man. I’m just drinking the juice and enjoying it and seeing what kind of effects happen after. And again, I said this yesterday or earlier day, whenever I said it, I don’t know, the days are all jumbled together.

We’re not gonna, I’m not going to notice anything for a few months. So I have to consistently do this for a few months. One week, two days, one, three weeks a month. It’s not going to work. I have to consistently do this. I’m talking about I’m referring to juicing. And then after, um, I got a couple of months in my belt or mute at least at least two months under my belt. We’re in week number three. So what, four or five, basically five more weeks, uh, five, six more weeks then I’ll understand. And then, then I’ll worry more about which each fruit does for me. And then, cause I’ll have gone through, I’ve tried all and I’m within two months I would have gone through every vegetable at Harris Teeter, every vegetable at Amazon’s whole foods, every vegetable at food lion and every vegetable at Walmart, you know, fruit included.

I’m not just talking about vegetables. So by that time I forgot the two or three months Mark. Then we can really kind of nicher down and be like, Oh, this is what I need. Or this is what I need pick and pick and choose better. But I also, by that time, the garden should be there. So then this would be more in tune, a much better experience for you and for me as well, excuse me, this is making me burp. But other than that, let me go ahead and finish this. Cause we’re at time and I still got a lot left. I like to talk for some reason. I apologize.

Some grapes would probably be a good year to do, but no, just keep the strawberries.

All right. As I’m getting lower and closer, closer to the bottom, I’m tasting spinach. Like obviously I’m tasting the orange. It’s been with us the whole entire time. I’m tasting a little bit more of a spinach flavor.

March 26 Noon Taste Test

All right, welcome back. I apologize for that. My, my other phone, it ran out of space. So when I’m done with this video and you know, what I have to do is, is, uh, clear some space on this phone so I can use it again. Um, so back to where we were, this is what our concoction looks like. It seems like my, I think I’m looking at the camera, but the cameras I’m looking, I’m literally, I’m looking directly at you guys, but it looks like I’m looking to the, to the side. So I apologize on that because if I look at the, if that’s looking at the camera, then I’m looking at space, right. That’s weird. All right. So Lee, just to recap, what’s in here, we have orange lemon, Apple sweet potato, asparagus and spinach. Oh yeah, yeah. And we also have, what does that call a flower? I got it right that time. Right? We have cauliflower. So we have those in here. Uh, we’re see if it gives us some energy when we’re trying to mix together the perfect concoction to give us like the afternoon boost to give us energy for the rest of the day. Right? So that’s where we’re adding citrus to it. To, to, to increase the amount of sugar that we’re intaking in the middle of the day. Let’s clear off the phone.

All right. Back to me. So this is me in green right here, as in this morning was more reddish. This is really green, Which is crazy because we just have spinach in it. Well, the spinach and asparagus, I guess, is what it’s creating it’s color, but we also have Apple and orange and lemon and a few other things. So it being this kind of, uh, kind of vomit green makes me nervous. I don’t know the colorful drinks. I’m not as nervous with the green drinks with the green drinks. I’m always kind of like, Oh no, man, here we go.

Cool.

Yes, this is very citrusy. Yes. It’s very citrusy is, this is, uh, probably not the best drink I’ve made. Let’s try it again.

Yeah. There’s a lot of citrus in here. A lot of citrus, you can taste it. It’s making it sticky in the back of the throat.

Wow.

All right. You did your tastes. Hold on. Let’s do it again.

yeah. It’s a different flavor. It’s really different.

I can taste the cauliflower, right. That’s that’s besides, it’s kind of like a citrusy cauliflower. If that makes any sense. Asparagus don’t really taste the asparagus too much. Um, I mean, my pee is going to be all the way messed up. I had a beat this morning and now asparagus right now, so it’s going to be purple and the smell like. Excuse me. I just thought about that. Um, hold on. Let’s take another swallow.

That’s very difficult as [inaudible]. Yeah, I mean, not as just wow. With the flavors. That’s a lot, there’s a lot going on in there. Um,

Like, it has the stickiness that I I’ve I’ve, you know, the citrus stickiness in the back of your throat, but then it also has the chalky kind of dryness of the sweet potato and then it has the flavor of the cauliflower. Um, so it’s, it’s different, very different. Um, you know, hold on, let me, let me see what would go good in this

So two things, it needs a cucumber right? To, to give it more like water. Cause I mean, this is it’s pretty citrusy. I mean, it’s, it’s I’m I need some water to drink so I can get rid of the stickiness in the back of my throat. Right. That’s kind of what I mean by sticky. Um, so a water, not a welder, excuse me. A cucumber would give it kind of a kind of blended flavor out a little bit. It take away the stickiness because it’s basically for hydration, excuse me. And then I would put some ginger in here. I grind up some ginger. I want to start, I want to try like a peppermint and other kinds of things like more herbs. So I might buy some herbs. I’m just kinda nervous because you don’t really get very many herbs for the price. All right.

So I might get like a, an herb for $3. And so, um, I’m not quite convinced on the herbs yet, but as you know, it’s about to be summertime. So if I grow a lot of herbs, then, Oh yeah, I’m going to mix them in there. Cause it’s, you know, it’s free. All right. So, uh, if you wanna, you know what, I am really not very good at growing things. I’ve, I’ve been able to have a couple of seasons of the garden, but that was because I had help to put it together. Um, but other than that, I dunno if I can grow herbs, but we will try, at least we’re at this very moment. The mind is we’re going to do it not, but do not quote me cause it’s not a hundred percent sure I’m going to do it, but it would be a great idea to do it just because I want to like, because just imagine the herbs bring so many different flavors, right. And it’s basically a vegetable they’re both grass or like growing on the ground outside by nature. So I, you know, add a little herbs in here, a little herbs we’ll spice, herbs, and spices with our drinks. That would be amazing. I don’t know what the spice is, but the spices are all out of the ground too. So yeah. Herbs and spices

And I think part of it is because again, we’re going to have the same issue with that. I, I say almost on a constant basis is it’s dry or it’s not dry. Excuse me, it’s warm. Um, but that’s literally my fault. That’s not the juices fault. That’s cause I have the, and I have the fruit basically outside of the fridge. So I need to, I need to remember mental note, put the stuff inside the frigerator. So then tomorrow when you want to drink your juice, it’s not hot because that could be part of the stickiness because you know, when, when, when it’s, when it’s hot, it’s kinda sticky. Right.

But really no complaints, no complaints at all. This is good. We’re getting to the point where it’s just a phone we’re in. I’m going to try it one more time, see where we’re at. If the foam’s just there, I’m going to cut the case.

March 26 Am Taste Test

Good morning. Let’s bring out our concoction and we made this morning. Here we go. Let’s go over the detail or the ingredients real fast in case anyone forgot or didn’t watch the other videos. We have a beat. We have a carrot. We have a red Apple at green Apple. We have a Mellon, uh, uh, a LA some, something like that from Honduras. Uh, I think I said carrots. Carrots. Yes. So there’s a part of the reason this isn’t a full glass is I miscalculated how much I need to put in here. So, and there’s the sweet potato. Let’s try to take off of our foam. You see, we got a little bit, a little bit more on this side, but it’s not, it’s not too shabby. Although we also don’t have a full cup either. So in regards to the, now it’s quite a lot more, alright. The beet gives us the flavor And I forgot to take the picture.

Um, before I drank this. So there will be a picture of, I will stop this video with a little bit left and drink it. So let’s give it a shot. Let’s see how this tastes. I am a little nervous. Beet is cool, but it’s also not. And I also know if you’re going to do this with beats, you have to understand this. Your bowels are going to be changing colors when you pee, it’s going to come out a little bit like this. And when your poop is going to come out a little bit like this, don’t worry. It’s normal. It’s the beat. The beat is very, very powerful. This is surprisingly good. Yeah. After part isn’t quite as good as it going down, but going down is, is when it first goes into your stomach, like into your mouth. There’s just a cluster of flavor, which is it’s good. It’s really good, actually.

Cool.

I taste the Mellon like that’s of everything that I taste. I taste the don’t get me lying. The melon from Honduras, right? The OMA, something from Mike’s melons. I enjoy that. I I’m not gonna lie. I, before I mushed it all up into the juicer, I took a small little, little spoon and tried it and I thought it was absolutely disgusting. So for it to, I also don’t like melons. I can’t, I don’t like any type of melon, honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe. No, I don’t like the flavor of behind it. I think it’s gross. Like when you go to the hotel and then when you go to a fancy hotel, they got the fruit for breakfast and they got the orange fruit, the green fruit, the watermelon, no, I’ll eat. I’ll eat a piece of pineapple and that’s about it. Right? Other than that, no, it’s just not, not for me. However, in this, the melon juice is giving this a sweetness that the beat, the beat has a distinct type of sweetness because it’s not really dry or not really like bitter, there’s a beat, but the melons complementing the beet flavor. If that makes sense.

Yeah. Is he in my teeth already?

That’s the beat. So just know after you drink this juice, everything is going to be beat color for a little bit. So don’t get nervous. Don’t get frustrated. Don’t go out of all out of whack. It’s normal. But though again, we’re the only thing that, that I’m getting at or that my, my most consistent complaint that I’ve had is the temperature. All the juices that I’ve had thus far, I have more or less been room temperature. Now, if they’ve been, if we could lower the temperature, every drink that I have, that I, I make amazing. Amazing. So maybe, maybe I shouldn’t just drink them right after. So for you, if I’m not sure it might cause I’m drinking all this by myself. I’m not really sharing it. And, um, uh, this is, it’s a one in one and done type of drink. I’m not going to go back and drink this later. But if you were to have maybe two or three friends, this was this with some ice and then just port for everybody, maybe with breakfast or lunch or something, it’d be beautiful. It’s just needs to be cooler. That’s it? The taste and everything is great. It’s not bad at all. The Mellon, no Mellon, whatever type of melon it is. You will have to look at the other video or read the other article and you can figure out what it is. I forgot what it was.

Yeah.

There is sweet potato in here. Now I’m not going to full disclosure. The after flavor is not the greatest going down all the way into about right, right. About here. Great. It’s the last little bit that tastes like dirt and I’m thinking that’s the beat. Um, so yeah, uh, just be prepared for the last little part taste like dirt, but 99% of this is great. It’s just that last 1%. It tastes like crap, but nonetheless, it’s good. You know, what would be good in here? I gotta try some pineapple.

Let me see With a pineapple juice in there. That’d be, that’d be great. You notice, I didn’t say strawberries, which I usually say strawberries, but some pineapple, some pineapple in there would be good that this is really surprisingly good. It’s it’s not as liquidy as water. It has a thicker consistency. So I think it’ll hold me over a little bit longer.

Yeah, through the whole juicing thing. I don’t know how you could use to not eat food. Yeah. I would be starving. Um, I mean, if you have reserves, right? If you’re overweight or you’re, you’re, you know, bigger person then yes, most definitely do this and juice yourself down to a normal weight. But if you don’t have any like reserves out a little bit of reserves, I, I just, I, I couldn’t do it. My body wasn’t able to maintain it. Plus I’m also burning a lot of calories by running for 30 minutes and riding a bike for an hour every day. However, I’m gonna take one more nice little swig. We’re going to discuss the flavor one last time. And then I’m sorry for me talking like this, like, this is not helpful for anyone you can’t see me. I’m extremely sorry for playing. Um, I’m sorry for playing with my face. That’s rude and it doesn’t do you any justice? Cause especially when I’m playing with it right here, it’s right in front of the camera. You can’t see what’s going on. Anyways. One last swig. Then I got to take my picture.

Again, very, very, very shocking how sweet this is. Like, it’s almost like a candy. It’s so sweet again, that little, the last 1% isn’t the greatest, but 99% of this tastes like S like straight up sugar. Like I went to the store, I grew up, I had some sugar and I dumped it into this cup. That’s what it tastes like. I, and you, if you watch me, you know, there’s not any sugar in here. However, there is a large sugar flavor in here. So hopefully I’m not being counterproductive and amping myself with more sugar than I had by just drinking regular sugar. But, uh, we’ll figure that out. And we’ll see, as we continuously go through this progress through this journey, all right. Talk to you guys later and hope you enjoy the picture.
